Novato Parents Nursery School is a co-operative Novato preschool. Parents and teachers work together to provide a stimulating and creative environment that encourages the development of each child’s love of learning through both structured and unstructured play experiences.

Taking from the best of the early childhood educators and teaching methods, we are child-centered and play-based. From our earliest days starting in 1968, our community has strived to provide a safe and caring environment for children as they progress toward greater independence and self-reliance.

Through participation and commitment to the community, parents gain the opportunity to work with the director and teachers to create the space they desire for their children. With their many talents, skills and strengths the parents provide the fuel to this amazing place!
